Dr Amlan Kumar Pal

Assistant Professor

Dr. Pal was born in West Bengal, India and received his postgraduate degree in chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, where he worked with Prof. Dillip Kumar Chand. In 2009, he began his doctoral studies under the direction of professor Prof. Garry S. Hanan at Université de Montréal, Canada. After his PhD, Dr. Pal started working with Dr. Eli Zysman-Colman in the year 2015 at the University of St Andrews, UK as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow.

He began his independent career as a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the University of St Andrews, UK in the year 2017. 

Currently, he is serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Jammu, India.
